To Club Managers & Directors
The Post Mortem is a three-times-a-week service, providing hand analyses for the games on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Post Mortem is also published online on this site, integrating it with links to the extensive Wednesday Game Archives and Convention Library.
There is no charge for The Post Mortem service, and you can participate in any or all of them. Eventually, we'll end up with three mailing lists, one for each of the three days, so that you won't be bothered with emails for games in which you are not participating. Bear with us until we are up to speed on this.
For each of The Post Mortem games, we send out the game materials, a few days ahead of time:
- Deal Slips … that’s a PDF file which must be printed prior to manual preparation of the boards.
- A DUP, a PBN and a BRI … files used by those blessed with a dealing machine.
- Hand Records … a PDF file.
The analysis for each Post Mortem day is posted on this site, augmented with the links mentioned earlier. Because the games are played around the country at different times, we need to protect the information with a password, which is only active during the day that the set is “live”. That password is printed on the Hand Records on the hand records that you get at the Club after the game.
